Abstract: How easy is it to find you as an expert in your field? Is your research being buried under a pile of Google search results? This presentation will discuss discoverability for academics and their work. It will highlight how to use tools like ORCID and Google Scholar and the importance of being able to link your name, your work, and your email easily online. Additionally, the presentation will delve into the editorial process for scientific papers, highlighting when and how research and researcher discoverability play a role in the process.
